Continuing examinations and trusting God
Pastor Rodrigo is undergoing further medical examinations this month. The family continues to trust in God's healing and provision, and asks for prayer for clarity from doctors and peace at home. Thank you for your continued support — it has truly carried us.

A season of testing — and grace
Rosana is slowly recovering from her own health setback. Joaquim continues school with the support of the Union Church family. Rodrigo's father remains under close care for his dementia. We are grateful for every prayer, every meal, every gift.

Initial diagnoses and the first response
Initial test results pointed to multiple concerns — pancreatic, cardiac, and throat. The church family at Union Rio gathered to pray and committed to walking with the family through whatever lies ahead.
