Their Story

A life fully dedicated to Christ

From São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro — fourteen years of missionary service, worship leadership, and quiet faithfulness.

Pastor Rodrigo is originally from São Paulo, Brazil. He came to know Jesus Christ in the year 2000, during a Christian retreat near São Paulo — a moment that would reshape the entire trajectory of his life.

Since that life-changing encounter, he has devoted himself to worship, discipleship, and missionary work. After earning a degree in Business, he answered God's calling and completed his Bachelor of Theology at the Presbyterian Seminary "Reverendo José Manuel da Conceição" in 2008.

For over fourteen years, Rodrigo has served as a missionary with Capacitados para Repartir, a ministry partnered with CRU International, reaching teenagers and families across Brazil with the Gospel.

At the Union Church of Rio de Janeiro, Pastor Rodrigo has faithfully served as Worship Leader for more than seven years, and was ordained into pastoral ministry in 2020.

Together with his wife Rosana and their son Joaquim, Rodrigo has poured his heart into serving others, sharing the Gospel, discipling believers, and leading people into the presence of God.

Rosana serves full-time as a volunteer alongside Rodrigo in their missions and at Union Church Rio, while also recovering from her own health challenges. Joaquim, their son, has grown up in the rhythm of a ministry family — present at the altar, at the dinner table, and at the side of those they serve.

"Now it is our turn to support them."
